ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Bond/Bound responds to the tension between social connection and social distancing in our current moment. Though at times the efforts to contain COVID-19 feel intensely isolating, we have also found creative opportunities to connect deeply with family, friends, and community. Bond/Bound features works in a range of mediums created during, and inspired by, this period of uncertainty.

Accepted entries were chosen from a large pool of local, national, and international submissions. Each entry in Bond/Bound is accompanied by a statement from the artist about their connection to the theme.
