On October 13, 2021, Second Street Gallery and Common House presented a hands-on image transfer workshop with Charlottesville artist Sharon Shapiro. During this in-person workshop, held on the rooftop at Common House, Shapiro showed attendees how to artistically transfer images from photocopies, inspired by her own practice. Participants had access to all the necessary materials to learn paper-based image transfer techniques and were encouraged to bring photocopies of imagery that was relevant or significant to them.
