“This series, as an artist – is my cry to society. During the time of self-isolation, I have combined my precious 35mm film negatives with the trees I captured during recent travel to create photographic poems, searching for inner truths, photographs both  beautiful and haunting. This duality has influenced this body of work and I aim to evoke strong emotions and develop deep connections.

I have been able to discover the immense abilities we humans possess to cope with trauma, the strength that evolves out of suffering, and our common desire for healing and wholeness. We currently have no other choice than to just keep going.”
