Currently based in Portland, Maine, Richard Yu-Tang Lee is an Asian American artist from Chicago, IL. Through a multidisciplinary artistic practice, Lee explores themes of mortality, anonymity, and the necessary cooperation of opposites. Lee has recently been in residence at the 6th International Tao Hua Tan Artist Retreat in Anhui, China, culminating in a group exhibition in Hefei, China. He co-owns Little Brother Chinese Food – an actual growing food business and a performative artistic practice operated with his wife and collaborator, Claire Guyer.
