TTT5 Opening Day

Join Second Street Gallery for the highly anticipated opening of Teeny Tiny Trifecta 5! The gallery will be open on First Friday opening day from 11AM-7:30PM. Artworks will be available for sale in person and online starting at 11AM on Friday, September 2.

Second Street Gallery is pleased to present Teeny Tiny Trifecta 5, a juried group show and fundraiser to kick off the Gallery’s 49th season. The exhibition will open for a ticketed VIP Party & Early Access Presale day on Thursday, September 1 from 5-8PM. Tickets to the VIP event are available online here: https://www.secondstreetgallery.org/ttt5-vip-party

Preview all artworks from the exhibition through our online store: https://www.secondstreetgallery.org/ttt5-online-store.

The exhibition will consist of a collection of 3 works of art, all measuring 8 inches or smaller, from a carefully curated selection of artists. This year’s exhibition includes 146 artists, primarily from Virginia and the surrounding region, representing diverse styles, techniques, and mediums. Inspired by both Cabinets of Curiosities as well as the Paris Salons of the 19th Century, the exhibition aims to showcase a wide range of talented artists while providing an accessible introduction to contemporary art collecting. All work will be priced at $100, so this is a great opportunity for collectors of all budgets to own a work of art by some of their favorite artists.

This year’s participants will have the opportunity to be nominated for a special award: The Curator’s Choice prize, accompanied by a monetary stipend and a solo exhibition in the Dové Gallery September 1-29, 2023.

Starting in September, the gallery's hours are as follows: Wednesday - Friday, 11am - 5pm and Saturday, 10am - 4pm. Please contact info@secondstreetgallery.org for any questions.

This exhibition is generously sponsored by Gardy Bloemers & Nick Duke Sr. and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
