Artists in Conversation: Photographers featured in "Charlottesville Porch Portraits"
On Wednesday, May 21 at 5:30PM, you are invited to join us for a conversation with Ézé Amos, Tom Daly, Kristen Finn, John Robinson, and Sarah Cramer Shields; the photographers behind the Charlottesville Porch Portraits project. Kristen Chiacchia, the Second Street Gallery Director and Chief Curator, will lead a discussion exploring the exhibition that showcases this project, on view in the Dové Gallery through May 23, 2025.
We encourage you to join us and learn about the group's individual experiences and get an insight into their collective efforts in bringing this project to fruition. You’ll also have the opportunity to understand their reflections on the project five years after its launch and discover how they aim to foster conversations about the resilient spirit of the Charlottesville community moving forward.
This exhibition has been generously sponsored by The FUNd at the CACF, OakHeart Financial Group, Stubblefield Photo Lab, the Virginia Commission for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and individuals from the community of Charlottesville, Virginia, and surrounding regions.
Although this talk is FREE to attend, space is limited and registration is required to secure a spot.
